This is it : Our Big Day Kwento

Woke up as early as 6.30am. Albert called mga 7am to confirm na ok na yung 1 bedroom ko for the preps. The studio room I slept on will be retained for my use para ma-occupy naman ng family ko. What a blessing in disguise! Saw that the new room is a lot bigger than the usual 1 bedrooms there, corner room pala sya. Really nice space for my preps!

After transferring my stuff there, I decided to have an early breakfast. Kaso halfway my meal, dumating na ang Angel of Hearts for my flowers. That's around 7am, so early! Syempre
kelangan ko sila puntahan. And right after nun dumating na rin sila Val. Yaiiks! So syempre start na sila ng ayos sa family ko.

Val kept on reminding me to take a bath na, kaso wala pa kahit ang mga coordinators ko! Pagkadating ng family ko, dumating na din sila Paul Vincent. Hala, ngarag na! O sya, naligo na rin ako!

While taking a bath, di ko pa ma-imagine pa na may special na magaganap. Parang wala lang talaga! Ni hindi man lang ako nakapagdala ng mga fave kong gamit sa pagligo! Ni konting kaba, wala akong mafeel...

So ayun, Val started to work his magic on me right after I dressed up. Medyo mabusisi nga sya kasi nilagyan pa ako ng eyelash extensions. Tsaka worried din sya ng kaunti kaya inagahan nya dahil panahon ng sale sa Megamall. Anyhoo, I was just right on time, naglalakwatsa pa ako to my family's room to check on them. Nakapag-pictorials ako on the hallway of our floor.

And then I was instructed na to wear my gown. Ate Lov fixed it pa kasi yung corset na nabili ko e sumisilip sa gown ko. She even fixed the flower girls' gown kasi medyo maluwag. While doing this, kinuhanan naman nila Paul si Albert sa kwarto nya.

Then we decided na to have some pictorial on the helipad area. Thank goodness naalala kong may helipad ang Malayan, napakinabangan namin tuloy!

Then bumaba na kami to go to the church. Nauna pa ako sa groom ko kasi naligaw yung sinakyan nilang car. Namali ng liko! Hehehe!

While waiting, I saw na paunti-unti, nagdadatingan na yung mga bisita. Panay ang tingin nila sa akin. Nakakatuwa na walang na-late sa etourage ni isa. Nauna pa ang family nila Mareng Shy sa akin.

Padami sila nang padami nang dumating na rin si Albert. Si Fr. Memeng nakita ko rin, hay! Buti di sya late, hehehe! And then nakita kong pinapipila na sila habang kachikahan ko yung bridal car driver. Dun ko na na-realize, eto na talaga, wala nang atrasan! Ang dalawang taon kong inaantay na matapos, eto na! Dun ako nagsimulang kabahan! Dun ko din naalala na di ako nakabili ng fruits para sa offertory so kelangan syang tanggalin sa flow ng misa. Nung pababa pa lang ako ng car, medyo naiiyak na ako sa kaba. Hanggang sa ako na ang pumasok, ayun, tumulo na lang ang luha ko sa sobrang saya. Kasi lahat ng inimbita ko nakita ko! Sobrang saya ko talaga nung moment na yun! Tapos halfway, kasabay ko na sila mama at papa, ayun umiiyak na din hehehe!

Albert sang my bridal march song (The First Time I Loved Forever). Galing talaga ng hubby ko pero medyo expected ko nang gagawin nila, kahit kelan spoiler talaga ako! Hahaha!

Galing ng makeup ni Val, ni konting smudge wala kahit panay ang tulo ng luha ko.

Even as we sang our vows (yes, we sang it!) hindi ko napigilan ang maiyak. Si Albert, sa dulo na bumigay. Sayang, patapos na e! Hehehe!

Very smooth ang flow ng misa, walang ni kaunting hassle! Ganda ng homily as always ni Fr. Memeng, short but sweet & inspiring.

After ng mass, nagkaron pa kami ng kaunting pictorials nila Paul sa labas ng church.

Pagpasok namin ng simbahan, medyo kumulimlim kaya naman di ganon kainit. Paglabas namin, maaraw pa. God is so good to us as always! I prayed na hindi umulan pero it was even a more than perfect weather. God, thank you!

By arrival of guests sa reception, sinalubong daw sila agad ng mga appetizers & drink so while doing this, we headed for a little pictorial at the fountain ng makati parks after mabigyan ng 2nd look ni Val.

Our entrance at the reception was welcomed by some party poppers & the song "I love you more today than yesterday". After a short prayer of thanks from our emcee, we started agad
with the cake cutting & wine toasting.

And then our first dance. Ito ang super hit kasi wala talagang nakaalam na we made it modern! It started with the song "A Book of Love" from the Shall We Dance? movie soundtrack. And then idinugtong ang medley na Rump Shaker, Ragga Muffin Girl at U Can't touch this. Nakakaaliw tignan ang mga reaction nila, yung iba sa sobrang shock, hindi na nagawang makunan ng video! hahaha!

Right after nun, we showed them the AVP made by Shierdan. We got a lot of heartwarming comments how touching it was. Then pina-announce na namin ang game na Best Message for the couple, na sinundan agad ng Guess the Song title. 2 of Albert choirmates from Coro ang nanalo, 1 naman sa officemate's table. Their prizes whree 200 pesos worth na Starbucks GC's. 2 ang nanalo sa Best Message namin, then nagpa-game din kami ng charades na OPM songs ang hinuhulaan. Albert's choirmates from Voiz N' Musique ang nanalo and they won a bottle of wine.

While queueing for the food, pinalabas naman namin yung ginawa kong AVP's which showed our prenup pics with Paul & at WeddingsAtWork. My sister also made a surprise video which

showed really cute & funny messages from our friends at Holy Cross.

Dinner was really filling! I tried eating a lot pero parang ayaw tanggapin ng tiyan ko! Albert's Coro choirmates rendered 3 songs & then our thank you speech. It was a very efficient yet
laid back reception, totally how we imagined it! I really thank God up to this day, as He gave us a very memorable & blessed wedding. So if you are going to ask me what is my favorite day of all, ito yun! =)
