The Cebu-Bohol trip! Part 1

Our much anticipated anniversary celebration was a blast! Though we have overspent on "pasalubong" (lucky I have my card with me, heehee!), I wouldn't regret it. It's a real nice experience to come back to Bohol & be at Cebu at the same!

Part Une : Cebu
1) Mactan Shrine
No entrance necessary. Since we were early, walang competition sa pics!

Low tide
2) Cebu Cathedral
After having breakfast, we attended a mass here. The mass was in English, pero ang homily visayan. Only caught some phrases (my family is from Negros)
The church's facade

Inside the church

3) Magellan's Cross
Went here first as the Sto. Nino Church is fully packed. The one on the pic is only the encasement, as chini-chip-off daw ng mga tao ang orihinal. No entrance too.

4) Sto. Nino Church

5) Fort San Pedro - "The smallest, oldest triangular bastion fort in the country was build in 1738 to repel Muslim raiders."
Has an entrance fee of P15

We went to SM Cebu for our lunch and to contact Oceanjet. We took the 3:30 Pm ferry sched so nakapagpalamig pa kami (imagine the heat at bigat ng dala namin!). Nakasabay pa namin sila Cesar at Sunshine (heard through the grapevine he's running for governor of Bohol pala, kaya panay ang balik-balik nya). Malas ko lang, low-batt na si camera, so nasa phone ko pa ang kuha ko.

Up Next : Bohol!
