Part Deux : Bohol
Arrived around 6pm on Tagbilaran Port. Had our night at El Portal Inn (which is, by the way, a really nice inn near the port/airport. For only 900 a night) We had our dinner near the mall. Slept early to get ready tomorrow.
On the second day I planned to have our Bohol tour. We booked our Bohol countryside tour thru Tatsky (0922-367-1051). Nice driver/guide/cameraman all in one si Tatsky!
FYI, we skipped The python & butterfly garden as recommended by my friend Pat. Mas gusto kasi naming umabot sa check-in time ni Dumaluan.
1) The "fake" Blood Compact Shrine
I know, you are wondering why the word fake. The reason is, it was only until 2006 that they discovered the real place of the Blood Compact. It was in Loay (pictures below too) as it said it was between two rivers and near a well.
2) The "Real" Blood Compact Shrine
Luckily the historians found the evidence, and was able to find the place in Tagbilaran that has two rivers. The only thing missing is the well. They asked all the people around the place if they know a well there, pero wala daw. Since maliit na lang ang lugar na paghahanapan, they saw the well. Folks back there are shocked, wala talaga silang kaalam-alam na may balon duon.
Has P10 fee. Actually, nothing much, so you can skip this place.
Former Pres. Carlos P. Garcia, being a Native Boholanon, decided to plant Mahogany trees in a 10 hectare lang to protect Bohol from flood. Look at it now. Manilenos, we can do it! Check out the pic, it's as if the trees made a cathedral-like dome.
Of course, who would dare miss this part of the tour? I was here before but I wouldn't think of not seeing it again. To anyone who's wondering why there are no trees on the hills (the reason it turns brown is because at summer, all the grasses die), it's because the most part of it is made of coral & stone. Bohol used to be under sea level.
There is an entrance of P50.
Such cuties! They just ask for donation for the tarsier's food.
Famous for having that fresh-watered well, even if it's near the sea. Water is deemed to be miraculous. Lucky to have a free water bottle with us.
Second oldest church in the Philippines.
9) Loboc River Cruise
Has P300 fee, inclusive of a lunch buffet. Try the Riverwatch Loboc Cruise, as they provide one of the best lunch viands.
10) Bohol Bee Farm
Pat recommended for us to go and buy the tastiest Honey & Pesto spread ever, here at the Bohol Bee Farm. Since we are more of excited to have a dip at the beach, we passed for the tour, which costs P20 per head. We had our fill of their tasty ice cream too. Try their malunggay flavor! It is yummy!

Has an entrance fee of P10. Small but a nice sight to see.
Fishes here do not really mind having people around them.
That's all, folks! =)
