RECOMMENDED: 40 year old virgin

I've already watched "40 year old virgin" twice, and oh my gulay, sobrang saya! Highly recommended!

Summary:
40-year-old Andy Stitzer (Steve Carrell) has done quite a few things in his life. He's got a cushy job stamping invoices at an electronics superstore, a nice apartment with a proud collection of action figures and comic books, good friends, a nice attitude. But there's just one little thing he hasn't quite gotten around to doing yet--something most people have done by his age. Done a lot. Andy's never, ever, ever had sex--not even by accident. So is that such a big deal? Well, for Andy's buds at the store, it sure is. Although they think he's a bit of an oddball, there's certainly a planet full of stranger (and homelier) guys who've at least had one go at having a go. They consider it their duty to help Andy out of his dire situation and go to great lengths to help him. But nothing proves effective enough to lure their friend out of lifelong chastity until he meets Trish (Catherine Keener), a 40-year-old mother of three. Andy's friends are psyched by the possibility that "it" may finally happen...until they hear that Andy and Trish have begun their relationship based on a mutual no-sex policy.

I never liked comedy movies that's very much into sexual stuff pero this one passed coz it was included to make the movie meaningful, hindi yung kabastusan ang pagtatawanan mo kungdi ang pagiging ignoramus nya on sex.

SPOILER: A trivia on the movie -
The scene where Andy has his chest hair removed, required five cameras set up for the shot. Star Steve Carell's chest hair was actually ripped out in the scene. The actor had told director Judd Apatow just before shooting the scene: "It has to be real. It won't be as funny if it's mocked up or if it's special effect. You have to see that this is really happening." The scene had to be done in one shot.

This is, for me, one of Steve Carell's best. I watched him first at "Bruce Almighty" and oh my gulay talaga, ang galing nya! (If you haven't watched it yet, watch out for the asshole named Evan Baxter).

I've read at the IMDB.com that he will be starring in a sequel of "Bruce Almighty", minus the Jim Carrey & Jennifer Aniston characters. Currently titled "Evan Almighty", the story will be more of like a remake of Noah of Ark, as Steve Carell's character will be asked by Morgan Freeman's God character to make one. Can't wait! =)
